My formal name is Ioannis and I am Postodoctoral Research Associate at the University of Kent. I work on a project, entitled “Business Creation in the UK”, in collaboration with Alfred Duncan, Miguel León-Ledesma and Anthony Savagar. I am a Ph.D. Candidate in Economics, supervised by Amanda Gosling and Olena Nizalova. Also, I am a network research fellow of the GLO, where I participated in the VirtYS program of 2019/20.

Earlier, I obtained an undergraduate first class honours degree from the Athens University of Economics and Business (graduated on the top 4% of my class). My dissertation graded as Excellent (10/10) offering me a scholarship to pursue my postgraduate studies at the same institution. Later, I received the Vice Chancellor’s Research Scholarship Award to complete my Ph.D. at the University of Kent (UK).
